This Sunday, please be aware of road closures and extra traffic in Playland’s parking lot and around Rye as the Soul Ryeders host their 2nd annual Half Marathon and 5K.
Please be aware if you want to get to the Sanctuary on Sunday, it might be best to wait until after the event. The course opens at 7:30am and closes at 11am. Roads around Playland will not be shut completely, but there will be delays getting anywhere. Soul Ryeders recommends planning ahead, parking your car outside of the courses, anything you can do to make it easier for yourself if you need to get somewhere early Sunday morning.
Our Volunteer planting event has been moved to Noon to accommodate this additional congestion.
