Volunteer Opportunity –
Preparing the Gardens for the Season

1:00 pm – 2:30 pm –

This is a Volunteer Work Project to help beautify our gardens for the Spring and Summer Season. Great for any type of volunteer service credit. And a good way to celebrate Earth Day! Please bring work gloves. All other supplies will be provided.

Shoreline Restoration Project has begun –

You’ll notice construction vehicles and equipment in the grass field just outside the sanctuary gates. A Living Shoreline is being constructed to increase the resiliency of our shoreline while also improving habitat for wildlife. Once the project is complete, the grass field will reopen. Projected completion date is expected for Sept 2025.

We will continue to update our members with important information as we learn it. Thank you for your patience!

Summer Camp Registration Is Open! –

If your children want to spend time at Edith Read this summer, get ready! Registration for the Nature Camp is open!
