We will discover, collect and dissect some of the geological historical formations of Read Sanctuary and the Long Island Shoreline. A nice travel log through the formation of part of the east coast.

The Big 10 Ants of the Northeast – 

Learn an overview of different species and identification, with specimens of Ants in the northeast.

Back to the Bamboo Again –

 

It has become a seasonal tradition at Read Sanctuary to visit this wonder and utilize some of the materials that can be made out of this grass. We will create a variety of items, many that you are welcome to take home with you. Come one come all.
