Our Visitor Center will be closed on Saturday – 

“Back to the Bamboo”, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 16th has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 17th.


Back to Bamboo Again –
SUNDAY, March 17 – 

2-3:30 pm – 

It has become a seasonal tradition at Read Sanctuary to visit this wonder and utilize some of the materials that can be made out of this grass. We will create a variety of items, many that you are welcome to take home with you. Come one come all. –

Early Bird Migrants –

10:00 am – 11:30 am – 

We will seek out some of the earlier warbler migrants, as well as staying in tune with the backyard and aquatic birds. Please bring binoculars. –

Shoreline Restoration Project set to begin – 

We have recently learned that a Shoreline Restoration Project is scheduled to begin on March 25. As we learn more, we will share details with you.

Our Second Art Exhibit for Read Sanctuary is Still On Display –  

So many wonderful submissions on view in our Visitor Center. We truly have talented Friends! Exhibit will be on display through March 23rd, 2024.

 

Summer Camp Registration Is Open! – 

If your children want to spend time at Edith Read this summer, get ready!  Registration for the Nature Camps is open!
