Come learn the life cycle of this infamous grass species and how to harvest it. Meet at Visitor Center.

Join us as we learn the workings and basic identification characteristics of these diverse insects. Meet at Visitor Center.

Planting of Native Seaside Goldenrod Near the Shoreline
We will clear small patches of invasive plants, to plant a native shoreline plant. Please bring work gloves. All other supplies will be provided. Meet at the Visitor Center.

Learn about the pros and cons of invasives plant species and basic techniques on how to control them. Please bring hand gloves. Tools will be provided.

PLAYLAND CLOSING WEEKEND:
This Sunday is Playland’s final day of the 2024 season. The gates through Playland’s parking lot and into the Sanctuary will be open all days except this Saturday (11am-9pm) and Sunday (12pm-8pm). Starting September 30, the gates will be open all day, every day. You will not need your membership card again to access the sanctuary until May 2025.
