Early Spring Scavenger Hunt –

We will search for natural signs and items that have been placed in “treasure boxes”. This is a fun way for kids to find clues and ideas that will help educate them about their natural surroundings.

Squirrels and their Foraging Habits –

Squirrels exhibit fascinating forging habits that vary significantly throughout the seasons. Talk about various resources that they will find from buds, nuts, seeds and insects.
Solar Eclipse and the Weather –

2:00-4:00 pm –
Come view a rarity in our sky, where day becomes night! We will also observe how it affects our climate and the surrounding skies! Limited viewing glasses will be provided! Bring chairs and/or blankets, while we take a daytime break with the sun for a while!

Shoreline Restoration Project beginning –
You’ll notice construction vehicles and equipment in the grass field just outside the sanctuary gates. As we learn more details on the shoreline restoration project, we will share them with our members.
