Exploring the Geology of the Shoreline
Saturday, March 11
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Learn about shoreline geology in your neighborhood park!

We will discover, collect and dissect some of the geological historical formations of Read Sanctuary and the Long Island Shoreline. A nice travel log through the formation of part of the east coast.

ART EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY!

And while you’re visiting the sanctuary….

Stop by and see the Art Exhibit inside the nature center. Artwork was submitted by a dozen or so members and friends. Check out their talents from now until March, 25th.

*Note: This painting is not on display. It was a submission in our 2020 art contest
