BACK TO BAMBOO AGAIN

It has become a seasonal tradition at Read Sanctuary to visit this wonder and utilize some of the materials that can be be made from this grass. We will create a variety of items, many that you are welcome to take home with you. Come one, come all.

JOB FAIR – CAMP COUNSELORS NEEDED
Saturday, March 18, 1-3 pm
At Muscoot Farm, Katonah
Visit the Job Fair, Saturday, March 18, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Muscoot Farm in Katonah and apply to jobs on the spot!
The numerous positions in the Westchester County Parks Department include Naturalists/Educators, Nature Camp Counselors, Range Officers and Recreation Attendants. Locations span the entire Westchester County Parks system at our 50+ facilities. Job descriptions are available.
In addition to applying for jobs, participants will be able to visit the farm animals, eat pizza and play games.

Back by popular demand! Curious children ages first grade through ninth grade will enjoy exploring and discovering the natural environments of the sanctuary, the woods, the fields, the beach, the bamboo forest and more! Camp weeks are from July 10 through August 18.

ART EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY!
Only one week left to see the artwork on display at the sanctuary!
Stop by and see the Art Exhibit inside the nature center. Artwork was submitted by a dozen or so members and friends. Check out their talents from now until March, 25th.
