Winter Woodland BioBlitz
Come ready with the iNaturalist app dowloaded to your mobile device and join us for a 1.5 hour woodland bird ID blitz to help the Sanctuary to identify bird populations, previously unknown bird species, and track migration patterns. This program is great for beginners and for advanced birders alike. Make sure to join our projects on iNaturalist and you could win some great prizes!
Please bring binoculars and dress for the weather. Meet at the Nature Center building.

Animals in Hibernation
Ever wonder where all of those animals go during the Winter? Many animals hibernate, but hibernation can take many different forms. Join us for this program to learn more about different types of hibernation for all sorts of different animals found right here in the sanctuary. This program is great for anyone curious to learn more about the animals all around us even when we don’t see them.
Meet at the Nature Center building. Dress for the weather. Program is outdoors.
