Gate Card Issues – January 2022

We recognize that some members are having trouble using their membership cards at the gate. We are working with Playland, the Parks Dept. and Standard Amusements to correct the problem.  If your card is not working, please send an email to: info@friendsofreadwildlifesanctuary.org

Include in your email the barcode number off the back of the card as well as your name and mailing address.

We hope to rectify card issues remotely, but may need to send you a temporary new card.  (Please remember, ALL members will receive a new RFID gate card once Standard Amusements has their new system in place. This should happen before late spring.)  

Note: All 2021 memberships are active until 3/30/2022 and all 2022 memberships are active until 12/31/2022.  The gate card problems are unrelated.

Thank you for your patience during this transition. We share in your frustration! Unfortunately, the Friends of Read have no control over the gates or the related technologies surrounding them. We are hopeful that the new system will eliminate these issues.
