There’s so much happening at the Sanctuary lately. We hope you will take advantage and join us when you can!
*On most Saturdays, as you know, we have wonderful programming run by our naturalists and curators.
*New this year, we will also host regular volunteer opportunities:
- On the first Saturday of each month, help clear invasive species
- Every Monday, help with Park Clean up from 10-11AM

Invasive Plant Removal – Volunteers needed
Help us remove invasives and restore our land! Volunteer for a few minutes or a couple of hours. All help is appreciated!
Help us remove invasive species plants and begin the restoration of native habitats in the Sanctuary. Tools and equipment are provided. Focus species include linden viburnum, Siebold’s viburnum, Chinese fountaingrass, knotweed and mile-a-minute. Qualifies for service credit hours. Please bring work gloves. Meet at the Nature Center building.

Signs of Winter Wildlife
Learn how to identify animal markings in the Winter!
We will seek out examples of how creatures great and small cope with the signs of winter. From mammals, birds, insects and aquatics, we will explore them all. Hand lenses provided. Meet at Nature Center building.

Monday Morning Clean up!
Come help us keep our public lands clean! Trash grabbers and trash cans are provided. Dress appropriately and bring a smile!
