Fall Bird Migration Exploration and Observation –
Saturday, Sept 14 –
10:00 am – 11:30 am –
Come observe our feathered friends, as they prepare to head southward. Please bring binoculars.
Meet at the Visitor Center. Contact Scott with questions, sqw2@westchestercountyny.gov
Fall Seining by the Sound –
Saturday, Sept 14 –
1:00 pm- 2:30 pm –
Come explore the beauty of the Long Island Sound, using a 25-foot seining net to catch, observe and release creatures. Family fun, especially for children. Be prepared to get wet!

MEMBERS WAITING FOR CARDS —
Good news! We have finally received more membership cards from Playland. If you registered/requested a card before September 9th, your membership card was mailed on Wednesday!
As always, we appreciate your patience! Playland controls the gates and we do our best to advocate for our members.

MEMBERS WITH NON-WORKING CARDS —
If your card does not work at the gate, please do not throw away your card. We can ask Playland to fix your card problem (but it will take a few days).
PLAYLAND HOURS:
The gates through Playland’s parking lot and into the Sanctuary will be open weekdays through September. In September, Playland will only be open on Saturdays (11am-9pm) and Sundays (12pm-8pm).

International Coastal Cleanup Day! –
Today is the day that we help beautify the sanctuary and address areas that need attention. Great for any type of volunteer service credit hours. Please email at sqw2@westchestercountyny.gov if you are interested.
