Backyard Bird Bonanza. Make & Take Bird Feeders & Feeder Watch

We will identify the birds that visit our feeders as well as create some simple feeders that you can take home to attract birds in your neighborhood. Meet at the nature center. (Check out our art exhibit while you’re there!)

Join the world in connecting to birds – February 17-20
Citizen scientists will contribute to a real-time snapshot of global bird populations. Between Friday, February 17 and Monday, February 20, spend some time outdoors in your own backyard, in the Sanctuary, anywhere! Count birds for as little as 15 minutes, or as long as you wish. Beginners and experts are welcome as we search different habitats for birds.
